About the House

The farmhouse was built in the mid 1800’s to house workers for the vineyards around the Chateau de Sériège. We offer a beautiful and tranquil setting for your holiday. Our comfortable and spacious house boasts 2 indoor dining tables in the kitchen and in the living room and for alfresco dining you can either enjoy your meals at the covered pool house or under the paper mulberry tree next to the house providing natural shade.

On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen. On the same floor is the living room looking out onto the garden. Upstairs we offer 3 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a mezzanine bedroom for two little ones. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated, and many of the paintings displayed are for sale.

About the Garden

Take the short walk across the garden (100 meters) to the 12 x 6 meter private pool. The pool house provides shade all day. There is an additional outhouse with a fridge, oven/hob, BBQ and toilet. Picnic benches are provided in the covered pool house and garden lounge furniture. There is a 4m trampoline located next to the pool, and a tennis court that can be rented for an additional fee.

A peaceful stay in Sériège. We were looking for a quiet house to relax. We have found a house to return to every year.

Although the region is full of wonders to visit, we opted for a week of “lazing around” at the poolhouse, relaxing in deckchairs, swimming in the pool, taking siestas, playing cards and a strict barbeque-based diet.
